Windward Islands XI won the toss, but little else went right for them in a one sided match.
They were bundled out before Tea on the opening day as a pumped up Waqar claimed 4 wickets.
Lead by a hundred opening stand at 5 per over between Saeed Anwar and Shahid Afridi, Pakistan replied strongly, most of their batsmen making runs before the eventual declaration.
Windward Islands XI batted better second time round, but 4 wickets to Arshad Khan, and a further 3 to Waqar who finished as Man of the Match ended the game.
Pakistan won the match by the eventual margin of an innings and 42 runs, and it was an excellent display by the visitors from start to finish.
